A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Gruber obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati in June 1973 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in June 1977. Mike was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November 1977. A founding principal of the firm, Mike practices in real estate law, small business law, construction and development law and related issues. He has been a licensed title insurance agent for approximately twenty (20) years. Mike also has an extensive arbitration practice representing clients throughout Ohio, and he has also handled arbitration cases in Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Michigan. Mike is a member of the Stark County Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, The American Bar Association, The Ohio Land Title Association, and Ohio State Bar Association Real Property Board of Governors. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Stark County Association of Realtors and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Building Industry Association of Stark County. Mike is actively involved in his community. He is a longstanding member of the Board of Directors of The Twelve, Inc., a child services organization. He served as president of The North Canton Chamber of Commerce, has taught real estate law at Malone College, and has lectured on many seminar topics for organizations such as the Stark County Bar Association, the Ohio Legal Institute, the Stark County Association of Realtors, the Akron Area Board of Realtors, the Ohio Association of Realtors, and private seminar companies. He also lectured at the Title Tech National Convention.
Mr. Thomas obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Business in 1985 from Walsh University and his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1988. Dave was admitted to practice in all Ohio Courts in 1988. As a principal in the firm, Dave maintains a broad practice in general law, principally in commercial real estate, residential real estate, corporate, and estate planning. Dave is a member of the Stark County, Ohio State and American Bar Associations.
Jason’s practice is focused in the areas of business, commercial and real estate related litigation and transactions. Jason also practices in family law. In his litigation practice, Jason has a high success rate in representing businesses, both large and small, as well as individuals. With his extensive experience, Jason provides his clients with aggressive representation in a personal and cost effective manner. Jason received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from James Madison University in 1996, graduation with honors. He received his Juris Doctor from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2000. Jason was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November of 2000 and is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Ohio and the Western District of Michigan. He is a member of the Ohio and Stark County Bar Associations. Jason is a loyal and involved lifelong resident of Stark County. He is currently the Solicitor for the Village of Meyers Lake and a Finance Committee Board Member for St. Peter Church in Canton. Jason was formerly legal counsel for the Canton Junior Chamber of Commerce. Jason resides in Canton with his wife Anne and their three children, Kara, Josie and Grant.
Jamie received a BS in mathematics from Muskingum College in 2007 and a law degree from Ohio Northern University in 2010 and was admitted to the Bar in November of 2010. Jamie began her association with Zollinger, Gruber, Thomas & Co. in July of 2009 as a law clerk, and began practice with Zollinger, Gruber, Thomas & Co. in November of 2010 and has been with the firm since that time. Professional Involvement: Jamie is a member of the Stark County Bar Association, the Akron Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Jamie is also a member of the Elder Law and Probate Practice Committees of the Stark County Bar Association, the Estate Planning and Young Lawyers Division of the Ohio Bar Association, and the Real Estate and Probate Law Section of the American Bar Association. Community Involvement: Jamie is a member of the Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce, the North Canton Chamber of Commerce, the Canton Chamber of Commerce and Business Connect Networking Group. Jamie also serves as a Trustee and Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Phoenix Rising Behavioral Healthcare and Recovery, Inc. which is a private non-profit behavioral healthcare agency. Jamie represents individuals and small businesses in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Business Planning and Elder Law. Jamie is also accredited with the Veteran’s Administration and is passionate about assisting veterans in obtaining benefits. Jamie has presented seminars to various groups on the topics of Estate Planning and VA Benefits.
Todd is a general practice attorney with focuses in family law, criminal and civil litigation and education law. Todd is one of the few attorneys in Northeast Ohio practicing education law, representing clients and their families through consultations and representing them at Individualized Education Plan team meetings, mediations, expulsion hearings, Manifestation Determination Reviews, Department of Education Due Process hearings, and federal court. Todd advocates for parents of special needs children; defending each child's right to receive the free and appropriate public education (FAPE), guaranteed under state and federal law. Todd received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1992 from Bradley University and his law degree in 1998 from The University of Akron. He was admitted to practice in all courts of Ohio in 1999 and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio in 2001. Professional Activities: Todd’s membership activities include the Stark County Bar Association, the Akron Bar Association (where he has held Chair and Vice Chair positions on several committees), and the Council of Parent Advocates and Attorneys. He has presented to several groups on education law and has taught continuing legal education to fellow attorneys, in this area. Additionally, he has received mediation training, through the Ohio Supreme Court, Dispute Resolution Section. Community Activities: Todd has had an abiding commitment to the communities of Northeast Ohio. His volunteer activities have included participation in various community theater in Akron (Weathervane, Shakespeare at Stan Hewytt, Coach House), service on the Boards of Tree City / Kent Stage Players. Likewise, Todd graced stages in Stark County for Jan Kennedy’s Main Course Murders and for Murder With Reservations. He has also provided service as a Commissioner at Large for Boy Scouts of America, Old Portage District, Great Trail Council, and as a member of the YMCA Camp Y-Noah, Advisory Board. He is a member of the North Canton, Jackson-Belden and Green Chambers of Commerce. Faith is also vitally important to Todd. He is an active member at Congregation Kol Chadash and serves as a Sunday School teacher, Alternate Cantorial Soloist, and member of the Temple worship band. “Schullhouse Rock” (guitar, bass & vocals). He currently resides in Jackson Township area with his wife, Lynn and children, Lucas and Lauren.
